The ECM is an organization of the men of Ascension, who by the Grace of our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit seek to accomplish good works in the furtherance of the Lord’s Kingdom. The ECM is open to all men of the congregation. They Provide moral, physical and financial help in all parish endeavors; support activities for youth and children and the scholarship fund. |

The Affirmative Aging Ministry is a parish-based ministry by, with, and for older persons of the church and church community. The mission is to support older persons to live in grace, and to enable them to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for the remainder of their earthly lives |

All the group members regularly attend the 7:30 A.M. service and wish to make a contribution to Parish life. Goals of the group include regular meeting for prayer and Bible study, plus projects to support the Clergy and to help improve or enrich the life of the Parish. The Guild initiated a scholarship program for the youth of Ascension and has provided vestments for the Priest, altar cloths, draperies hymn books, and funding of various projects. |

The Ascension Altar Guild prepares the altar and vestments for each service tend to, maintain and clean, all of the ornaments of the altar and sanctuary. The members make themselves available for weddings, baptisms, funerals and other special services. |
